Miss Sarita Vamadeva was nominated for the Frimley Health annual Excellence in Clinical Education awards and won the Best Clinical Trainer award. Dr Vamadeva has shown steadfast commitment to teaching all the juniors in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. She changed her job plan to create a weekly afternoon teaching session all juniors could attend and tailored the content to the learning needs of each doctor attending. She bid for and won almost £10,000 from Health Education England to create a library of books and anatomical models in the Department. This in an invaluable resource for the team whilst on duty. She also set up a biannual national FRCS revision course that has received outstanding feedback from candidates and examiners.
